Nerina Mancini, born in Florence and raised in California USA, studied the cello at the University of California Berkeley with Prof. Bonnie Hampton followed by one year at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold with Prof. Marcio Carneiro under the Hertz scholarship.She then recieved her soloist diploma in the Hochschule für Musik Basel under the guidance of Thomas Demenga.She regularly performs as a soloist and chamber music player as well as in major festivals.Since 2004, she is member of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin.
